''Setting Green Building Policy for the Built Environment'' 

Singapore's best-in-class buildings have achieved about 71 percent improvement in energy efficiency compared to 2005 levels, yet the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) foresees that hitting the 80 percent target will be a technical challenge. This goal involves pushing the boundaries of energy efficiency through research and innovation. Learn more about how regulations are being considered to enable 80 percent of all buildings by gross floor area (GFA) to go green by 2030 and 80 percent of new developments to be Super Low Energy (SLE) buildings from 2030.
