John Holland

Sheridan has 12 years’ experience in commercial and finance administration management with over 9 years on challenging, PPP, D&C and construction projects and has successfully delivered the commercial and finance outcomes of each delivery model. Sheridan believes in working with clients, Subcontractors/ Sub consultants and all stakeholders to deliver win-win outcomes.

Sheridan has worked on key building and infrastructure projects in both regional and metropolitan Australia and Singapore, from large-scale rail and road infrastructure projects to managing and closing out the financial position on the Wheatstone Permanent Building Project NPI for Oil and Gas production and the iconic West Gate Bridge in Melbourne Australia.

Sheridan holds a Master Degree in Business Administration from the University of Western Australia and is a key member of the Project Senior Leadership team at T309 in her role as Finance Manager. Sheridan has been instrumental in the leading the cultural development of the diverse team.

Some of Sheridan’s other achievements in the advancement of women at John Holland include;

  • building the culture of T309 Siglap John Holland Zhen Hua Joint Venture, integrating the John Holland diverse workplace policy into a multinational workforce;
  • leading a successful T309 International Women’s Day forum and leadership challenge for the advancement of women at T309;
  • nominated by John Holland for the NAWIC awards program in 2016 for her work as a Commercial Coordinator and her community involvement on the Esperance Port Access Project Western Australia
  • the Women’s Leadership Team for John Holland South East Asia
  • Currently mentoring 3 female engineers on their careers in John Holland.

Sheridan has extended her reach beyond John Holland to promote the advancement of women in Construction through volunteering for the Young Australian Builders mentoring program in Western Australia, and her involvement in Rotary and National Council of Women Western Australia.

In recognition of her contribution and service to the advancement of women, Sheridan was awarded the 2017 National Council of Women Western Australia – Paddy Firstenburg Memorial Award for Women in Industry, business or the community service.
