Kylee is a registered architect, having been a Director of West Australian architecture, interior and urban design firm Fratelle Group since 2010. She holds a number of leadership and advocacy roles within the industry, including industry Non-Executive Director board roles Bethanie, WA's largest aged care provider and LandCorp, Western Australia's land development agency focusing on residential, industrial and commercial projects across the State. She is also an Australian Institute of Architects WA Chapter Councillor and Division Councillor for the Property Council of Australia WA Division.
She was recently awarded the 2015 Australian Institute of Architects Emerging Architect for WA and is a 40under40 winner. Kylee has been the Project Director, Project Architect and Superintendents Representative for the design, coordination, management and administration of large and complex projects in different sectors including multi-residential, commercial, seniors, retail, recreation and hospitality projects across the state and prides herself on connecting with clients to create high quality design outcomes for every project. She has a wide experience of delivering projects, both in design and on-site during construction.

Western Australia’s construction industry is once again gaining momentum following a subdued period of growth for the last 5 years and is becoming once again a place for new opportunities and fast change. New technologies are emerging, innovation and good design is being recognised and gender equity is becoming a key issue. It is an exciting time to be a female working within the construction industry in Perth. Kylee reflects on her career to date, and how her work, both as an architect and an industry commentator has driven new opportunity and guided outcomes for the state, at a micro, medium and macro scale and what the future holds.
